Dear brothers and sisters,
As some of you may know me already, my name is Moaied Natour.
I have been an attendee of this masjid for 29 years. I have moved to the state of Florida in 1991 from Queens, New York, and grew my family as well as my business since. I am a married father of 6 kids, all of which who were born and raised here in South Florida, and who grew up and made their friends specifically in this masjid all their lives Alhamdulilah. I have been and currently am a business owner in the automotive industry since 1988, currently residing in Pompano Beach.
I am nominating myself to have the opportunity to help serve this community by bridging your voice and engaging your opinions and ideas to the discussion table—specifically, with the position of Recreation Director.
The Recreation Director position usually entails implementing recreation programs and ensuring they are being taken advantage of and are successful. As Recreation Director, I will take joy in holding and directing gatherings and ensuring that programs and schedules run smoothly, as well as address ideas that are brought up by our community for the benefit of our community.
I always look forward to working with the brothers and sisters of this masjid, and I find this to be the best outlet to do it. JazakAllahu Khairun.
