I have been a member of the community since birth, and I am familiar with the community and its needs. I have over 10 years of experience running my own business in the field of production and design. I am a founding member of the South Florida Young Muslim Professionals and currently sit on the board.
I want to help deliver the feeling of unity and equality within our community. I believe that every member of our community should have a voice and it should be heard. It is important to select a board who will not only hear the community, but also be transparent. I am looking to help the board and community finish any projects to improve and better our Ummah.
My business and home are in Deerfield beach and my time is flexible to be around the center to be on site to meet with maintenance and personnel. I would also like to establish an outreach program to help contribute our efforts in the surrounding neighborhoods.
Additionally, I would like to create a committee to nourish the newest members of our see through that they are continually growing through their new lives, as-well as interacting with different religious organizations and entities. And last but not least I intend to establish the Muslim Youth Camps twice annually during winter and summer breaks to provide our youth with a lasting experience not only in our culture but also in life in general.
