Be the inspiration for bringing joy and erasing anxieties. Our goal at the ICOSF Foodbank and Community Services is to enable each member of the community to get both physical and mental care.

Families in the neighborhood that require assistance can receive a monthly food box from the ICOSF Food Bank. Non-perishable food products are donated by the community and packaged for monthly pick-up. In order to continue serving everyone who needs assistance, non-perishable item donations must continue to be made since our distribution list is expanding.

Acceptance of Contributions
Acceptance of any contribution, gift, or grant is at the sole discretion of the Islamic Center of South Florida (ICOSF). ICOSF will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and charitable purpose of the organization.
Protection of Donor Financial Security
ICOSF will not accept any irrevocable gift—whether outright or involving life income—if under any reasonable circumstances the gift may jeopardize the donor’s financial security.
No Tax or Legal Advice Provided
ICOSF does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice regarding contributions. Donors are strongly encouraged to consult with their own qualified tax or financial advisors when making charitable contributions.
Types of Gifts Accepted
ICOSF accepts donations in the form of cash or publicly traded securities.
Gifts of in-kind services or other non-cash contributions may be accepted at the discretion of ICOSF.
Gifts Requiring Prior Review
Certain types of donations require board or administrative review before acceptance due to potential obligations or liabilities, including but not limited to:

Real property
Personal property
Non-liquid securities
In-kind donations of significant value
Contributions from non-transparent sources
Gifts with usage restrictions

Donor Acknowledgments
ICOSF will provide appropriate acknowledgments to donors, including receipts required for tax purposes, for all accepted gifts. However, except for cash and publicly traded securities, ICOSF will not assign a monetary value to non-cash gifts for the purpose of donor substantiation.
Donor Intent and Anonymity
ICOSF respects the donor’s intent regarding the purpose of their gift, including restrictions placed on its use. Donors requesting anonymity will have their information kept confidential and shared only with staff or board members who have a legitimate operational need to know.
No Compensation for Gift Solicitation
ICOSF does not compensate any third party—through commissions, fees, or other means—for directing donors or contributions to the organization.
