Welcome to Our Masjid

Whether you are a Muslim new to South Florida, a non-Muslim guest, or someone exploring Islam for the first time — we are glad you are here. ICOSF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit masjid that has served Pompano Beach since 1984. This page is here to help your first visit go smoothly.

What to Expect on Your First Visit

Prayer Times

Five daily prayers plus two Jumu'ah (Friday) congregations. See the homepage for current Athan and Iqamah times — they shift slightly throughout the year.

Where to Enter

Main entrance is at 1641 NW 15th Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33069. Separate entrances for the men's and women's prayer halls are clearly marked.

Parking

Free on-site parking is available. Friday Jumu'ah and Eid prayers fill up quickly — arrive 15 minutes early. Volunteers help direct traffic during high-traffic events.

Dress Code

Modest clothing is appreciated. Men: long pants and a shirt with sleeves. Women: loose-fitting clothing covering arms, legs, and hair (head scarves are available at the entrance if needed).

Shoes

Shoes are removed before entering the prayer hall. Shoe shelves are at every entrance. Please remember where you place yours — it gets busy after prayers.

You Are Welcome

Non-Muslim visitors are warmly welcomed. If you have questions, our greeters or any community member will gladly help. There is no expectation that you participate in prayer.

Drop in any time the masjid is open. Friday Jumu'ah is the busiest time and a great way to meet the community.
